Since the launch event in January 2009, Industry Takeover has built a reputation for offering an unrivalled programme of professional development, entertainment, education and networking opportunities to hundreds of industry-minded youth and hopefuls from across the capital and beyond.
What was born as a monthly event, dedicated to equipping attendees with valuable knowledge and industry insight to start on the right track, Industry Takeover soon grew to become UD’s flagship annual all-dayer.
Curated by young people, for young people, our Industry Takeover All Dayer supports careers pathways into the industry and has become a beacon for diverse UK talent.
Previous events have featured contributions from Novelist, J2K, Big Zuu, Nadia Jae (1Xtra/SBTV), Mercedes Benson (Complex UK), My Runway Group, GUAP and FutureSNDS, AIM, BPI, FAC, MMF, PPL, PRS UK Music, as well as Polydor Records/Universal Music, media partners Reprezent Radio, CMU:DIY, plus funders Arts Council England, PRS Foundation, Vivendi Create Joy and Help Musicians UK.
Unlock your potential.
“UD does such a great job opening up pathways for people of all backgrounds to develop a career working in music and other creative industries. There’s so much exciting young talent out there that deserves the opportunity to make itself heard, which is why the All Dayer is such a brilliant event and one that we are more than happy to get behind.”
