Nippa – Artist
Nippa who is an exciting prospect for R&B, began turning heads with the release of self-titled debut EP “Nippa”, featuring the popular single ‘Situation’.
To follow came a a string of successive singles – including ‘The One’ and ‘Reverse’- with nods from the likes of Bryson Tiller, Russ, UK heavyweight Dave and a coveted support slot on Jack Harlow’s European tour.
He featured on the R&B legend Craig David’s latest album ’22’ and he closed out 2022 with his sophomore EP, ‘Not A Statistic’. Wonderland named him “The slickest man in R&B” and Dazed praised his EP for “merging nostalgic R&B sounds with elements of hip-hop & trap.”
BBC championed him as one of their Hot 4 2023 and since then Nippa reached entirely new heights. He had an exciting summer across the festival circuit, gracing the stage at Stormzy’s This Is What We Mean Day and Reading & Leeds Festival. He collaborated with BRIT Award-designer Slawn and was the face of premium menswear label Arte Antwerp’s Autumn/Winter 2023 collection.
Leading into 2024 with a MOBO Awards nomination for Best Newcomer is added proof of Nippa’s flourishing trajectory.
