Jords – Artist

Jords is a Croydon-based artist who has been on a meteoric rise since the release of his motion picture-assisted project Almost an Adult in 2020, and has now seen success with over 20 million streams.

More recently, Jords released the album ‘Dirt in the Diamond’ in 2023 with notable features such as Masego, Wretch 32 and Kranium.  This was the first UK rap album to be released on legendary Motown records, Jords also released a 27-minute short film of the same name,that was selected for the TriBeCa Film festival, and nominated for 11 awards, most notably the MOBO for video of the year.

Jords has performed across the globe, selling out his debut UK tour in 2023 and showcasing his talent in France, Switzerland, Australia and more.

Jords is more than just a musician; he’s a championing pioneer in the Black-British Caribbean community – recently founding the charity Pickni Uniforms in 2021, an initiative setup to provide affordable school uniforms
