What’s On… Da Community Speakers Corner, March 21st @ Talent House

Embark on an enriching evening of dialogue, cultural exploration and positive energy, as Da Community collaborates with Pure Lime to introduce our inaugural Speakers Corner at the UD Talent House. With our amazing guest speaker Phillip Beckles-Raymond, dive into a thought-provoking conversation delving into the significance of carnival, exploring its profound impact on the British creative landscape, and recognising its importance within the Afro-Caribbean diaspora

Phillip Beckles-Raymond is a Trini creative, anti-disciplinary economist and transgressive educator from the University of West London. This space will be more than just a conversation, implementing a rhythmic backdrop infused with steel pans and drum beats, showing that within the culture, it’s important that the drum stays beating.

Tickets are FREE > sign up HERE.
