What’s On… FORE The Culture Cypher + Clash @ Peckham Audio, 16/11

Who said Grime is dead? Join FORE for a night of clashes and cyphers at Peckham Audio on 16th November. As an event partner, we’re pleased to announce that the lucky clash winner will also receive a #FreeYard recording session at UD’s studios and more…

“They say Grime is dead. We’re here to prove them wrong.”

As part of the adidas x GUAP Mag’s ‘Original’s Creator Network’, fashion and lifestyle brand, FORE, have curated a night of clashes and cyphers to celebrate the golden age of Grime music and culture.

London-based creative and Original Creator Network participant, Jordan Hall, says it’s time we dusted off our mics and put 140bpm tracks back on our decks.

“As someone who was brought up on Grime, who’s entrance to clubbing and DJing was through the culture, it’s a shame to see events on grassroots level fizzle out – where artists aren’t afraid to clash each other or be on stage going head-to-head. That’s why this is important to me”, says Hall.

The brand owner and self-proclaimed Grime fiend is using his time on the adidas x GUAP ‘Originals’ Creator Network’ to throw the hardest night of wheel-ups, clashing and electric performances, all in the name of the gritty genre. Once the event is over, Jordan plans to exhibit all the content created on the night to feature in the network’s end-of-year graduation and exhibition event.

“This is for everyone who loves Grime music, and a chance for those who haven’t experienced the culture to get a taste for it. The community is home to so many types of people from so many walks of life. It’s time we got them together.”

Put your finger guns high in the sky for Roll Deep’s Manga Saint Hilaire, legendary MC and record producer Jammz, Reprezent Radio resident DJ Charisma, and many more.
