Ella-Bonai Gordon – Manager (Hamzaa, Henrie, Mimi The Music Blogger)
Ella-Bonai Gordon, 25, is a London-based artist and A&R Manager. Formerly part of Renowned Management, she works with Hackney singer-songwriter Hamzaa, and Presenter/DJ Henrie. Having started in the industry working on events with Bigga Fish, running over 25 sold-out events across the country boasting early performances from the likes of Krept and Konan, Yungen and Sneakbo, Ella-Bonai developed a passion for nurturing talent and managing artists. She began working alongside Zeon Richards at Renowned Management and discovered Hamzaa in 2017. With an ear for talent and a breadth of experience spanning music and events, Ella-Bonai Gordon is one of the most promising names in artist management in 2022.
Dan Owusu – Co-President, Dream Life Records
Dan Owusu started his music career as a scout at Relentless Records where he was part of the team that discovered Not3s. Shortly after he landed a role at BMG Publishing where he worked as A&R Manager, signing artists including Chip, AJ Tracey, MoStack, Lotto Boyzz and Hardy Caprio. Now Co-President of Dream Life Records, alongside business partners Lunick Bourgess and Shane Derozario, the label is taking shape with its current roster that includes R&B Soul songstress Pip Millett and the no.1 selling artist Russ Millions.
Alexandra Ampofo – Promoter, Metropolis
Alexandra Ampofo is a live music promoter at Metropolis Music, part of the Live Nation Entertainment group. The Business Management and Leadership graduate heads up the Diversity Employee Resource Group, founding EMBRACE Nation at Live Nation UK – a cultural hub striving towards racial equality in and outside the workplace. Alexandra works across The End Festival, Somerset House, The F List (Director), Black Music Coalition and UNICEF Music Group and has delivered shows for global talent including Lauryn Hill, Janelle Monae and Kojey Radical. Experienced in working on brand partnerships (Google, Puma, KA Drinks), Alexandra also runs Women Connect, a not-for-profit organisation, acting as a female forward collective creating safer, inclusive spaces and opportunities for women, non-binary and gender variant people in the creative industry.
Wale Kalejaiye – Associate Music Group, Sheridans (lawyer)
Wale Kalejaiye is an Associate in the Music and Theatre Groups at Sheridans, where he’s built a burgeoning music practice, representing rising stars from across the globe. Alongside protecting his clients’ interests, Wale’s work in the industry is informed by his substantial experience in live events, branding and social media, having previously worked with social media influencers, digital start-ups, advertising agencies and leading online merchandise companies. Known for being a fierce negotiator, great networker, commercially aware and possessing real world insight to deal making, Wale has been instrumental in building The Good Co into a social media agency and digital platform with over 30 million followers worldwide.
