What’s On… Emerging Artist Residency August

UD are proud to announce the next three artists taking part in the all-new Emerging Artist Residency — a dedicated programme designed to champion the next wave of musical talent via complimentary studio access. This August we welcome The Multiverse, Zoiya & Kah’Nya

The Multiverse

The Multiverse is Oleksandr, an 18-year-old Ukrainian refugee and South London-based artist crafting original, refined soul & R&B. Inspired by the likes of Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire, he blends rich, timeless sounds with a fresh and modern edge, channelling the Gen Z experience. A true independent force, he writes, produces, and performs all his own material. His journey includes performing on major international stages, taking part in The Voice Kids and All Together Now, and representing Ukraine at Junior Eurovision. Now stepping into a new chapter, The Multiverse begins to reflect on love, relationships, and what the future looks like through the eyes of an young creative.

Zoiya

Zoiya is a producer and singer-songwriter from South London who draws from alternative, R&B and indie music. She creates an ethereal, dreamy, and moody atmosphere in her songs while leaning into introspective and expressive sounds. Zoiya takes inspiration from the likes of Kelela, Sampha, Solange, Ravyn Lanae and Blood Orange, to create a bewitching and inviting soundscape that subverts expectations. This is emphasised by her emotive lyrics and desire to explore the psyche through a captivating sonic experience.

Kah’Nya

Kah’Nya was born and raised in Zimbabwe, and that upbringing is at the heart of her music. Now based in the UK, she blends the depth of R&B and soft pop, creating something that feels like a novelty but also familiar. Her soulful vocals and introspective songwriting tell stories of self-discovery, identity, and everything in between. With a sound that crosses borders and emotions that hit close to home, she makes music for those who feel a little caught between places, or just caught up in their feelings.
