Meet Flames Collective. Fast becoming the go-to vocal group to liven up a show or recording, aged 14-19 and consisting of 30+ members, Flames have already collaborated with the likes of RAYE, Kojey Radical, Jake Bugg, Debbie and more.
Having just performed with multi-award winner RAYE at the 2024 BRIT Awards, Flames Collective celebrate with the release of their new single, ‘FaceTime’. Written by Flames and produced by their musical director, Andy Gilbert, ‘FaceTime’ lays the foundation for their forthcoming EP coming in Spring 2024.
Born in 2016 from a series of songwriting camps, Flames Collective is UD Music’s flagship programme, working with young people from inner-city secondary schools who demonstrate high potential when it comes to music. Participants benefit from year-round weekly sessions offering expertise in vocal technique, songwriting, performance skills and the opportunity to record and perform at live gigs.
Consistently heating up the live circuit, Flames Collective have performed at the Royal Festival Hall, EFG Jazz Festival, The Great Escape Festival, Kings Place, Byline Festival and more recently with RAYE at both Glastonbury (on the Pyramid Stage) and for her sold-out Royal Albert Hall show and recording of ‘My 21st Century Symphony’ with the Heritage Orchestra. Flames were also invited to join Kojey Radical for a performance at the opening of London College of Fashion’s new Eastbank campus, with more forthcoming gigs to be announced soon.
Forthcoming shows:
15th March w/ Raye & The Heritage Orchestra at 02 London (sold-out)
