UD return to The Great Escape with four new artists taking to the Komedia Basement stage on Saturday afternoon, from midday onwards… Roll up for Scuti, Amie Blu, Molly Elizabeth and Sarah Isabella!

Amie Blu, 19 years young, specialises in blending influences of contemporary alternative R&B and classic soul. Lyrically showcasing a wisdom and sophistication beyond her years, forming a sound that transcends genres and timelines, Amie’s a songwriter with an attitude that understands and speaks to young people today.

South Londoner, Scuti, who draws on rap, drill and grime and has been garnering critical attention (including a Kenny Beats co-sign) since she surfaced in 2019. Her most recent video for ‘Hold My Hand’ was shot in Brighton – expect the live version to bring forth additional vibes.

Molly Elizabeth, a member of the UD Flames Collective and Incubator programme, has had her work featured on Theresa Ikoko’s BAFTA award winning film, Rocks and released her debut track, ‘Please Just Wait’, via UD Music last summer. Inspired by strong women with a voice, expect to hear forthcoming single, ‘Heart Eyes Messing’, among others.

Singer/songwriter Sarah Isabella touches the scene with a mesmerizing serving of soul. Sarah travels between the soundscapes of soul, Alt R&B, jazz, and hip hop with “velvety vocals that light up with intelligent lyricism” to create her authentic sound. Expect a unique sound with nods to Fleetwood Mac, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill and Sade.
UD x TGE, Saturday 14th May @ Komedia, 44-47 Gardner St, Brighton BN1 1UN from midday onwards.
