On 18th June UD’s very own Flames Collective were invited to join Jake Bugg perform on the Chris Evan’s Breakfast show on Virgin Radio. The live streamed sessions were part of Jake Bugg’s upcoming 5th album. He says it was “inspired by everyone who felt lost and parted from loved ones during the pandemic.”
The Nottingham-born artist, who embarks on a 17-date tour around the UK from March to April next year, introduced his band, and said how much he enjoys playing with them. “We started off as a three-piece many years ago, so to be able to build it up to what it is now is a pleasure really.
“I’ve got Joy, and a couple of the Flames Collective singers as well, which have been a great addition to the group. We’ve got Michael on keys and Robbo and Jack on the bass and drums, and they’ve been with me since I was about 17-years-old. It’s a great band.”
Jake, Flames Collective and the band played a brilliant live set, including Lost, the most recent single from his forthcoming album, and All I Need, which is also from his new record.
