UD Presents: Elevator Membership Programme  

Our all new funded Memberships include;  

→ Use of our recording and podcasting studio facilities  
→ Monthly 1-2-1 business support sessions by industry professionals  
→ Use of our rehearsal space  
→ Premium access to our monthly Industry Takeover events   
→ Access to our hot desking/ co-working space  

Who should apply?   

→  Creatives, music industry professionals and independent artists within Black music culture aged 18-25, living in London
→ Earning equal to or less than London Living Wage
→ Reference or referral from one recognised industry professional  

What’s required of you?   

70% Masterclass/talks attendance   
80% Attendance to 1-2-1 sessions    
Quarterly evaluation form completion and meeting    

Criteria to apply for UD’s Elevator Membership:

Artist Managers  
→ Managing at least one act for 12+ months (unsigned, with distributor or label deal below 80K) 
→ Success story from artist they manage  
→ Plan for how they will progress their artist 

Artists (unsigned)
→ Released music within last 12 months 
→ Minimum 3,000 monthly listeners across 
→ At least one song with over 15,000 streams across platforms 

Producers (unsigned)
→ Releases with at least one signed artist (indie label, distro), preferably within the last 12 months
→ Releases with average of at least 100,000 streams over 5 songs 
→ Can use equipment independently  

Podcasters  
→ 5,000 followers across social media 
→ Actively podcasting  
→ Forward plans  
→ Active on social media  

Videographers/ Photographers  
→ At least one recognised professional client in the last 12 months 
→ Income of at least £2,000 in the past year from videography/photography work. 
→ Work evident on social media  

DJs  
→ At least one recognised professional client in the last 12 months 
→ Income of at least £1,000 in the past year from DJing. 
→ Releasing mixes  
→ DJing work evident on social media  

Journalists  
→ At least one professional/ paying client in the last 12 months 
→ Written for at least one high profile publication (TRENCH, GUAP, Complex UK etc.)  
→ Regularly blogging/writing pattern evidenced on social media 

Graphic Designers
→ At least one professional client in the last 12 months 
→ Income of at least £800 in the past year from Graphic Design work  
→ Work evident on social media 

Musicians/ Instrumentalists  
→ Has experience as a session musician
→ Income of at least £1,000 for musician work the past year
