What’s On… UD Music: Get into Music (East Summer School) @ Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, July 29th – August 2nd

Are you aged 15-17 years old and interested in exploring music, performance and songwriting? It’s FREE to sign up for East Summer School at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park today…

Running from Mon 29 July to Fri 2 August, 10:00 – 16:00, this workshop from UD x East Summer School is for 15-17 year olds. Book your FREE spot HERE.

Want to explore how to express yourself through songwriting, performance and dance! Throughout the week, young aspiring musicians and dancers have the opportunity to learn from each other, exchange ideas, and collectively produce performances to captivate an invited audience on the Friday evening, as they share the stage with local freestyle artists to showcase their talent.

This innovative collaboration between two powerhouse arts organisations will not only support the young participants to embrace their individuality but also aims to foster a strong sense of unity and collaboration.

What is EAST Summer School?

East Summer School is at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and offers FREE interactive workshops. This is exclusively for young minds aged 12 – 17 years old who are living or going to school in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, or Waltham Forest. The programme takes place from 29 July until 2 August only. You can take a look at the full summer schedule by checking the collection page HERE. From fashion textiles, skateboarding, dance, computer game design or creating your own mixtape our programme is suited for all.

EAST Summer School is delivered by East Education, a cross-organisational effort between LLDC and our world-leading East Bank partners; BBC, UCL, UAL’s London College of Fashion, V&A and Sadler’s Wells. The programme also features collaborations from other incredible local partners.
