South London’s Tre Wright has been making waves with a sound that moves between house, bruk, soul and hip hop, all shaped by the UK club music he grew up on – from grime and garage to reggae. His releases and standout DJ sets have cemented him as a rising talent in the underground. Alongside his solo projects he also plays with Ships of the Pharaohs and has taken his sound to venues and festivals like We Out Here. Now making his CoOp Presents debut, Wright drops heavy bruk drums, a sharp vocal hook and creeping 303 acid with his latest release.

The release leans into soulful garage-house – warm, emotive and deeply danceable, with atmospheric production that elevates her vocals. RIA marks her debut release with a standout collaboration with jazztronica duo Blue Lab Beats. The track is about falling out of love with someone but still ‘calling’ on them, holding onto hope that it isn’t completely over. Blue Lab Beats say on socials, “We had so much fun producing this beautiful song, the moment we heard RIA’s voice we knew we had to collaborate with her, trust us when we say you’ll be hearing her name more and more next year”. With this release setting the tone, RIA is definitely one to watch!
