UD Live Room Sessions 2: AE

The second video in our new series, UD Live Room Sessions, it’s time to meet AE as they step up to perform ‘Tell Me’

AE are the South London female duo of Ads and Els. Infusing authentic hip-hop, drill and R&B stylistics into their bars while staying true to their cultures – Ads is British-Sierra Leonean and Els is British-Nigerian – gives AE a unique edge.

Location: Talent House, E15 2QS
Videography: Hyabel Kadine @hya.bel and Adam Gregory @Adam.g_210 for Base Productions @Baseproductions_
Performance: AE @a2emusic
Piano: Jacob Baima @itsjazco
Recorded & mixed by: Michael Amarteifio @ginka.tmp

About AE: Bursting onto the scene during lockdown, with their debut 4 track EP, ‘Summer We Never Had’ (2020), AE soon joined the MOBO Unsung top 20 finalists (2021) with whom they toured and performed across the country. With the release of the self-directed music video ‘Mistaken’ (2022), subsequent releases ‘Tell Me’ (2022) and ‘Not Your Girl’ (2023), AE’s rising star has been cemented. In 2023, AE performed at The Great Escape and Radiate Festival, with early support coming from Complex UK & TRENCH, Kiss, Reprezent, NoSignal and 1Xtra

AE ‘Tell Me’ is available on all good DSPs or watch the official video HERE.
