UD are proud to announce the next artist taking part in our Emerging Artist Residency — a dedicated programme designed to champion the next wave of musical talent via complimentary studio access. This February we welcome
T Nova and Jem Wax to Talent House…

Straight outta South London, T Nova is always ready to make a statement. Blending hip-hop, r&b and poetry with his attentive lyrics and charismatic flows, he aims to craft innovative songs that stand as timeless pieces of art. Currently balancing university and his musical passions, T Nova makes sure to stay authentic by any means.

Jem Wax is an independent artist and producer from London, known for her bold, eclectic, and commercial sound blending soul, jazz, pop, and honest lyricism. Influenced by artists such as Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei and Jorja Smith, she’s emerging as a fresh voice in UK neo-soul with her recently released EP Annual Leave. Having landed her first Spotify editorial placement on Our Generation with the focus track ‘In My Corner‘, as well as a play on BBC Introducing London, listeners can hear an increasing depth and maturity in Jem’s writing.
Live, Jem moves easily between unexpected and iconic spaces, from performances on a double-decker bus to intimate Sofar Sounds shows and stages across London including Piano Smithfield’s, Soul Mama, Servant Jazz Quarters, The Finsbury, Strongroom, and many more. Mixing humour, raw vulnerability, and jazzy arrangements, Jem and her band deliver their sets with presence and personality.
Bringing 2025 to a close with a SOLD OUT headline show at Pizza Express Live (The Pheasantry), a venue that has hosted legends like Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, and inspirations such as NAO, Jem Wax continues to establish herself as a distinct, dynamic voice in the UK scene.
